Polyester insulation is a thermal bonded insulation material used for domestic and commercial insulation applications. Polyester is made from 100% polyester fibre.There are no additives or other components used in the manufacturing process,specifically no fibre glass!
Polyester insulation is non -irritant, odorless, non toxic, fire safe, non allergenic and water resistant. Polyester is dust free with no respiratable fibres and is an ideal insulation choice for health conscious home owners.

*ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE: Polyester insulation will perform as an acoustic material in a construction system, by providing a sound absorbing factor in the construction cavity. Typical improvement in sound transmission (STC) through a wall is 6-8 points on stc of the construction system without insulation eg: STC 35 +6 = 41 STC
*CORROSIVENESS: When tested in accordance with NZ 4222, polyester is classified as non -corrosive. The pH IS 7.8 (7 is neutral)
*COMPOSITION: Organic, long chain synthetic polymer. carbon-hydrogen oxygen.
MAX SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 160C
